Margaret is highly skilled in working with children, teens, adults struggling with emotion regulation, attachment, trauma, life transitions, interpersonal conflict, parenting, and low self-esteem. . She has years of experience serving clients in outpatient settings, including schools and community mental health agencies. Margaret has experience and extensive specialized training in Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide the most evidence based and effective tools to help her clients thrive.
She is deeply committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can feel heard and supported—an essential foundation for meaningful change. Margaret has been recognized as having significant success with hard- to-reach children and teens understanding that her relationship with her clients is the key to change.
Margaret empowers her clients to develop self-worth while equipping them with essential skills to navigate relationships with family, friends, and others in their world. Believing in a collaborative approach, Margaret actively involves the family system in the therapeutic process. She helps families learn how to validate and support their loved ones, fostering a holistic and a nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth.

Margaret received her BA from the University of Virginia and her Master’s in Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
